Respect Life

I'm putting this on here because this happened while I was working, and it seems that most people have little or no respect for those of us that work at these type of jobs. I mean most of us that work these jobs have degrees and have done other things in life that a lot of people have not done. Just because someone is working at a job that might seem little to them, dose not mean that person is less then human. I work at this 7/11 and day in and day out we have to deal with people who have no respect for life, no respect for people, and no respect for us. Before this incident happened maybe a month ago we had to send a middle age man to jail for trying to beat a little teen age girl in the store because he thought that she was standing to close (he sucker punched her). I have seen people on the average just do stuff in the store, where we as employees just thought like "wow what the hell is wrong with people," over and over again day after day. I remember when I was a little kid people had more respect then what they have now, people use to say things like "thank you" and "excuse me" In general it was a better time.
My next blog depending on how I feel about what happened about this issue will either be about the incident, because this is one of the few ways that I can express myself to get people to understand that we all need to change are ways or it's going to be about my true feelings about certain issues that I've never really talk about. My thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Ali Bashir may God give you another opportunity at life and may your soul, mind and spirit be healed if God grants you a second chance. To the people that seen the incident and thought that it was funny and was taking pictures I never really say this to anyone or about anyone your day will come because God sees and knows everything.

A 7-Eleven clerk was shot on the crowded 16th Street Mall today in broad daylight.
Denver police Lt. Ron Saunier said the clerk was in critical condition at Denver Health Medical Center. A suspect in the shooting was caught at 19th and Arapahoe streets. His name was not immediately available.
Saunier said he believed the man was on foot.
"The clerk was not behind the counter," Saunier said at the crime scene, which was filled with gapers. "He came out from behind the counter and confronted the suspect."
Saunier said it was too early to know whether robbery was the motive.

Sound System Culture by Slimrockah on MusicV2forums

The majority of members of music V2 seem to be involved in one way or another with a "tech" or dance related genre. The 1980's phenomenon known as the "reggae sound system" has paved he way for several genres, from hip-hop to modern dancehall, garage, and especially drum and bass. Using the cutting edge technology of the day, sound system operators/selectors and Mc's showed the world that playing records could be an art form. Their speaker rigs are the prototype for all nightclub sounds around the world. This clip is from a brilliant BBC documentary called "sound business" that was filmed in 1982 and features interviews and performances from the greats of the early British sound systems. The featured sounds include, Sir Coxsone sound, young lion, and the father of drum and bass, the Mighty Jah Shaka.. here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uoD_uBOIfEMIf you can watch the Doc in its entirety, I highly recommend doing so. This is the best documentary of it's kind, and the music is great as well.
